How to make a mood board from Bluesky art
Keep the pictures you find on Bluesky together with who made them, arrange them on a board, and share the board with a link. Everything stays on your device unless you share it.
1. Save pictures with their source
Paste a post link into Musepile, import your public likes, or use the Chrome extension to save from Bluesky with one click. Each picture is saved in its original quality with the creator, the caption and a link back to the post, so you never lose who made it.
2. Find things by how they look
Musepile can describe your pictures on your own computer, without sending them anywhere, so you can filter by topic, style and colour and find similar pictures. This runs on your device and is optional.
3. Group them into collections and boards
A collection keeps related references together. A moodboard is a canvas where you arrange the pictures freely. Pick images from your whole library, filter by colour or topic, and select all matches in one click.
4. Share a board with a link
A shared board is a link, not an upload. Whoever opens it sees the pictures fetched from Bluesky with the creator credited and a link to each original post, and can copy the board into their own library. Nothing is hosted by Musepile.
Credit the artists
Because every picture keeps its creator and link, a board built in Musepile makes it easy to credit and find the original artist. That matters when you work with other people's art for reference.
Good to know
Is it free?
Yes. You can save unlimited pictures and make 3 collections and 1 moodboard for free. Premium removes those two limits.
Is my board private?
Yes, until you share it. Your library is stored on your computer. A shared board is only a link to public Bluesky posts.
Can I use pictures that are not from Bluesky?
Yes. You can add files from your computer too, and arrange them on a board.
Do I need an account?
No. Signing in with Bluesky is only needed for Premium.
